Politické aspekty řecké tragédie / Political Aspects of Greek Tragedy

2. Jakými různými způsoby můžeme číst athénskou tragickou poezii a s jakými výsledky? 3. Jaký mají dochované tragédie vztah k ideologii demokratických a imperiálních Athén? Česká verze knihy má rozsah 160 stran. Greek tragic poetry is ultimately political, because the life in the polis and its values and its inversion are the key issue of tragedy. This book is a collection of essays which focuses on the political nature of Greek tragedy. Author would like to answer three substantial questions. First, why are we allowed to speak about tragic poetry as a political institution? Second, how can we read a tragedy and what results can we expect? Third, what was the relationship between the extant tragedies and the ideology of democratic and imperial Athens?
